Sudamala Resort was a beautiful mixture of traditional Balinese style and luxury. The staff were gracious, fun and unfailing helpful and a huge part of the charm of the place. We were met upon arrival with traditional Balinese blessings and welcome and a cool refreshing beverage. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed and very clean. The grounds are green and lush with flowering trees, ponds and traditional Balinese art. It has a lovely swimming pool area and yoga studio. The on site restaurant was a favorite, with breakfast lunch and dinner menus with lots of delicious choices and wonderful staff, and both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were repeat customers at the spa as well which was top notch. I highly recommend the Balinese massage. One of our group got a bad sunburn on a snorkeling trip and they got her right in within 30 minutes for a facial and a cooling body wrap specifically designed to soothe sunburns, that made a huge difference in recovery time! The resort is also located within a short walk to the beach with its own dedicated seating area on the beach. They have bicycles available for guests, umbrellas and front desk personnel are on duty 24/7. I highly recommend Sudamala Resort and happily look forward to staying with them again on our next trip to Bali.

Breakfast, room and pool was very good. The breakfast was a good mix with plenty of choices, the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The night time turn down service on the room was good and would always give it another tidy up. The hotel location is only about a 5 min walk from the beach. The hotel is located in a nice street area with plenty of shops and food restaurants.

Some mornings getting a pool towel early was difficult as they did not put them out first thing. Also some mornings the pool area and pool could have old plant leaves etc around that did not get cleaned up as in previous stays when there always seemed to be a gardener sweeping and cleaning.

Great place to stay in Sanur! The rooms are really nice and the staff is so hospitable. The value is superb -- incredibly luxurious for the price you pay.

Maybe more vegan options for breakfast and room service would be great.

Great Location a short walk to the beach. Free bikes and beach loungers were a bonus. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with wonderful fresh food.

Quiet, natural setting, peaceful, comfortable place. Very nice, very helpful staff/Balinese people. Excellent breakfast and food options, served by very courteous staff. Convenient storage facility for those having flights well after check out time. Beautiful Balinese massage therapy.

Green oasis in the middle of the city, super clean, staff was soo friendly and rooms are spacious and luxury. Also the restaurants food was soo delicious! We came back a second time because it was such a welcoming atmosphere

It is a very nice hotel. I liked the rooms and rooms doors. It is well decorated creating a nice Bali ambience. Swimming pool is large and comfortable.

The gym could have some more heavy weights. They are all a bit light weight for some exercises. The food from the restaurant was fine but since it is a nice place it could be better.

Being woken up at 8 am from traditional noisy music , please ….. for the future , move it at least at 9 am , it’s terrible to be woken up by that sound

Stunning boutique resort with the most beautiful grounds and lovely staff. Excellent pool area and we loved the central courtyard for relaxing. Rooms are a great size with lovely features, architecture and balcony, always very clean. Location perfect for exploring the local area and beach!

A little bit dated but clean and comfortable

Our room was a great size, bed was very comfortable. A request to fix faulty tap was handled quickly and efficiently. The hotel is starting to need some TLC, mould, grouting, some tape ware and towels need replacing. We had an upstairs room which has a lovely balcony. The downstairs rooms outside area was very dark and dingy due to black mould all over the wallls. Not really up to the star rating that it has.

We were there for a 50th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special for the time we were there. We did an inhouse cooking class which was amazing and so worth it as it was raining. Who knew I could cook afterall!

The location of the hotel is ideal, near the beach and walking distance from stores and other restaurants. The hotel is peaceful and ideal to get a few days of rest, the staff is friendly and kind.

The unclarity on extra tax made for a couple surprises on my last day.

We have stayed a few times and always recommended the Sanur Sudamala to our friends and family when visiting Bali. The hotel is beautiful, amazing art and a beautiful garden and pool.
